Ron Gagnon, has been collecting and operating trains for 40 years. His current O Gauge layout, started in the 70s, resides in an attic. It is literally crammed with 100's of items and the collection spills under the table, down the stairs and into multiple other areas of his historical 3 story rental home. Ron is currently living in the home he grew up in, and is giving deep thought to building a new attic layout, which we are assured, will be even more extensive, and accessory laden.
Layout Statistics
The attic layout is 12' x 24' wall-to-wall. A 4' x 8' cutout in the center allows entry and access to the viewing area and controls. Tracks are powered by two ZWs and accessory power comes from multiple other transformers purchased over the years. Switches control almost every accessory built from Lionel and Ron has dozens more which are boxed and waiting setup on his new layout.
Ron is a primary part of the crew shoting photos for this growing web site collection of RMDTCA layouts.
